The Winter Endurance Cup is a club competition for runners who take part in endurance running events in the first quarter of the year. (So we can present the trophy at the club AGM.) Previously, it has been three handicapped half-marathons, but this year, we decided to open it to all races at least 10 miles, and use the RunBritain handicap system to provide the results.
Well done to Leila Felix, who won this year's cup with some impressive improvements to her handicap at Regents Park, Hampton Court and Lee Valley Velopark. Well done to all the other participants, too! The competition was organised for the club by Race director Darren Radford, with assistance from Chris Thomas.
